Reviews
Big quiet library with big desks to study, plenty of books to borrow if you have the library card, good wi fi.
ClubMaker
Friendly staff and plenty of options
The press area, on the ground floor, is excessively noisy, is shared with the English class space and is incompatible with quiet reading.
The two upper floors, perfect for their objective, calm and silent reading.
Very large, a lot of reading options for all levels of demands.
I attended the conference on Machiavelli in the Philosophy cycle, given by Professor Oriol Farrés. The lecture was brilliant, but it was completely inconsiderate of the library that no one introduced the speaker and didn't even have a measly bottle of water. I hope that in the face of other similar activities they rectify.
I rate it two stars, because today I went and it was the straw that broke the camel's back, literally.
The main functions of a library are: silence and order. So you can have a space to concentrate.
Well, this library does not comply.
Today I went and the silence was constantly interrupted by the loud sound of the air conditioning (which in my opinion was not necessary because it was cool) and also by groups of students who come to talk at the next table or small children who speak loudly.
Under these circumstances, none of the employees called them out for their inappropriate behavior for a library.
To make matters worse, drops of air fell on my notes and computer. I went to ask them to please turn it off because it was dripping on me and the solution they proposed was to move tables.
At no point did they apologize to me, rather they looked at me badly for not wanting to change tables and they continued making a fuss.
I ask that you be more professional with your work, and that you read and understand the constructive criticism that is made through this medium.
Professionalism please, it is a library.
Pros: The collection of comics is impressive.
Cons: it’s colder in the library than outside, people sit in jackets and freeze! I'm freezing too. It's especially cold under air conditioning. It’s only warm where the library staff sit
Municipal library very well located, with all the lending services for books, stories, computers, as well as a series of events and activities for all ages. At the back there is an interesting bar with a terrace. Libraries have become a meeting point for citizens
I really like this library - it's quite big and nice to study. And if you're a comic book lover, you might be very interested.
A 10! It offers activities and workshops, has study rooms open from Monday to Thursday until 11.30pm and the staff are friendly and attentive!
Long live public libraries!
